Wiston Estate Winery needs you!!

We are looking for harvest cellar hands to come and be a part of our team for the 2021 vintage.

At Wiston Estate winery we focus on quality, making the best sparkling wines for us and our clients - who fill the spectrum in terms of size. We have won Winery of the Year twice in the past 4 years (2018,2020) at the WineGB awards.

We are passionate about the land and get to work with fruit from all over the country, giving us a unique picture of the English harvest.

We are committed to ensuring everyone is happy and engaged in their work and provide a range of jobs so you will learn a lot during your time at Wiston. There is often a potential for longer-term work in the Christmas run-up. In return we’ll expect from you a good attitude and a willingness to get stuck in and work hard.

Daily tasks include:

- Press loading

- Red wine management (pump overs, punch downs etc)

- Barrel work

- Transfers and rackings

- Press/equipment cleaning

- Crate washing

- Inoculations and additions

- Lab analysis of fruit, juice and wine

Our harvest usually lasts 4 – 6 weeks, kicking off in early/mid-September. We pay above the national living wage (from £10.18/hr depending on experience). You must be able to work in the UK, your own accommodation and transport are also essential. In your application please indicate your full-time availabity, both start and ends dates.
