Harvest Assistant Winemaker (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

The Harvest Assistant Winemaker will report to the head winemaker and will assist with all harvet operations to produce the highest quality vintage, safely.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

- sampling and lab work

- set up, clean down and maitenance of winery equipment

- grape reception

- press operations

- cellar operations

 

Skills and Qualifications

- understanding of cool climate Sparkling wine production

- at least 2 vintage experienced in modern and professional wineries

- Driving licence

- physically capable for hand-on wine-making

- preferably forklift licence (but not essential)

 

Competancies

- Fluent English

- clear communicator

- enthisiasm for hands-on winemaking

- clean and organised cellarcraft

 

Additional requirements

- candidate must be eligible to work in UK

Remuneration commensurate with experience.
