We have recently purchased a neglected 6 acre vineyard in Upton Bishop near Hereford. The vineyard is well established (8 years old) with two varieties of grape (Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir). We are currently bringing the vineyard back to commercial viability. Further, we have acquired a further  8 acres of land that will also be planted with vines. This is a great opportunity to make an important contribution from the early stages of a growing enterprise.

 

The successful applicant will have:

 

• Experience and hands-on attitude with all aspects of vine growing and husbandry
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation
• An attention to detail
• An interest/experience in sustainable production
• A flexible approach to work and working hours to cope with the seasonal changes in a vineyard
• The ability to project manage effectively and work as part of a team
• Support from an established business and personnel
• Support from dedicated agronomist
