The Role:
We are seeking a Sales Manager – UK to lead and expand our presence in the UK. This role will work closely with distributor partners, key accounts, and retail channels to grow volume, distribution, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit trade accounts 4 days/week, with or without distributor sales reps
Call on chain and key on-/off-premise accounts
Present wines for shelf, wine list, and display placements
Achieve depletion, shipment, and profit goals
Analyze and manage distributor pricing, sales, and inventory reports
Audit distributor bill-backs and address discrepancies
Host and participate in trade and consumer tasting events
Provide timely reports and market feedback to senior management
Maintain healthy inventory levels with distributors
Travel occasionally in Europe for importer tastings
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced sales professional with strong knowledge of the UK wine market
Existing relationships with key accounts, chain buyers, and distributors
Proven record of meeting sales goals and building territories
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and high energy
Strong communicator with public speaking and presentation skills
Technologically proficient and familiar with CRM tools
Passionate about organic and sustainable wines
Willing to travel regularly across the UK and occasionally in Europe
