We’re a fun-loving, sustainability-focused group that makes epic award-winning wine, and we have an exciting opportunity for a On-Trade Sales Manager to join our Global Sales team.
Reporting to our UK/Ireland Sales Manager, you’ll be on the ground selling and promoting Yealands portfolio in the UK On-Trade Channels. This role is permanent, full-time and can be based anywhere in the UK (from your home office). Please note: that although responsibilities related to tastings, events, and customer engagement are nationwide, this work is predominantly in London and the South of England.
To grow Yealands brand presence and market share, you’ll be equipped with:
WSET or equivalent wine qualification, with Level 3+ being preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of winemaking, including styles, storage, faults, and the New Zealand Wine Industry
A can-do positive attitude with great customer management skills
A solid understanding of the UK wine market structure and trends
Relevant sales training and experience in selling wine or similar beverages, including time spent in market selling to national and/or regional on-trade businesses
(Ideally) experience working with a national distributor such as Matthew Clark or Bibendum
Excellent analytic skills and computer literacy in Microsoft based applications
