The Role
The post holder will be responsible for the successful development, management and leadership of Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) EMEA’s online Direct to Consumer channel including initiating a step change in both scale and revenue. You will also lead on the streamlining and coordination of our existing digital brand offerings and support Brand Managers in the development of digital strategies and plans. You will continuously improve digital in market contribution to brand and commercial success through Ways of Working and competencies
Key responsibilities include:
Direct to consumer
- Take ownership of existing platform and devise strategy and implementation across platforms to step change scale and revenue from direct selling
- Work with brand teams to evolve Brand sites and clubs
- Establish new channel opportunities direct or via partners and third parties
- Manage and lead relationship with digital third parties – including ecommerce providers & partners
Digital Portfolio
- Develop a portfolio approach for EMEA digital – establishing where and how TWE should be in the digital market place
- Work with Brand Managers to successfully take Digital to market in EMEA & co-ordinate a portfolio approach
- Support Brand Managers in the development of brand digital strategies
- Ensure a complementary and cost effective approach across brands and between Global & EMEA marketing
- Digital Ways of Working & Competencies
- Develop and oversee Ways of Working that work effectively across matrix in EMEA and Globally
- Ensure best practice in digital is introduced and adopted by TWE EMEA
- Seek out and trial new digital selling & marketing practices and approaches
- Keep abreast of improvements in digital ROI and incorporate into TWE standards as advancements are made.
The Successful Applicant
- Extensive digital planning and strategy development experience
- Acted as digital lead in a marketing team
- In depth knowledge of digital marketing and selling
- Experience of digital implementation and measurement
- E-commerce development and implementation
- Data and relationship marketing planning experience preferred
- Computer Literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & email
- Commercial, Numerate and analytical
- Strong influencing expertise
- Strong communication skills, confident & capable of operating at all levels
- Innovative, creative and challenging
- Team player
- Self-motivated & disciplined
- Wine qualifications & experience preferred
