Job description
St Margaret's Wines, Artisan Spirits & Craft Ales is a thriving business, growing from strength to strength in its 5 years of trading. We have a portfolio of award winning wines, spirits & ales and a client and service proposition second to none. A dynamic and entrepreneurial operation, focused on retail clients in the borough of Richmond and the surrounding areas, as well as cellar and corporate clients across London. Our online proposition was launched in September 2018, through Amazon and has proved a huge success. This was supplemented with a rollout of our own portal in October 2018. A flat hierarchy is our mantra, with the team providing input into all aspects of sales, buying, marketing, operations & our customer service offering. In return, you will be given day to day autonomy to drive the business forward, under the founders direction. Key Responsibilities
- Support a dynamic retail and online wine, artisan spirits & craft ale business from its base in the Borough of Richmond, where we have grown 30% year on year, in the last 3 years.
- Customer focused role at our retail store and offsite corporate/cellar clients, advising them on servicing their every need in relation to wines, spirits and craft ales.
- Dynamic, high achieving individual, with the ability & experience to thrive in a growing organisation, with a flat hierarchy structure.
- Input into the tactical & strategic direction of our business, covering the retail store, HNW & corporate clients across London, as well as our online proposition.
- Experience of regular informal, wine, spirit & ale tastings supported by specialist in the field, as well as continuously reviewing our wine, spirits & craft ale portfolio.
- Day to day general duties supporting our existing client and well as taking the initiative to grow the business through new leads.
Key Skills
- Wine, Craft Ales & Artisan Spirits knowledge (extensive Scotch & Japanese Whiskies experience a bonus); minimum 1 year, ideally 3-5 years experience
- New business growth via external client visits both retail and corporate clients
- Sales & Customer service management
- Retail and Online sales management
- Store Management (for Store Manager role)

Base salary £15000 - £25,000 per annum
Bonus £1,000 - £5,000 per annum
