Overall Job Purpose

• To maintain the smooth running of all operational aspects of the concessions, first point of call for all concessions operational issues.
• To establish year on year sales growth in existing sites and support the
• Head of Corporate & NBD for concession expansion.
• To develop new and existing wholesale accounts.
• Lead and support all Concessions staff ensuring that all sites are exceeding all company requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Carry out contractual concession visits (this will include occasional weekend working) and wholesale visits where appropriate 

Key Responsibilities 

• Providing managerial and operational support to the Concession team as well as supporting the manned and unmanned concessions within the Direct wines portfolio.
• Develop and grow new and existing wholesale accounts.
• Manage and maintain new and existing relationships with key stakeholders within the Direct Wines group as well as with external clients.
• Financial management and preparation of the full concession sales/margin/net profit budget
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial & Activity Presentations to key stakeholders (at board and director level)
• Project managing new site installations (and fitting where required) for both Concessions and Trade / wholesale locations.
• Production of Daily reporting and maintained of reporting files
• Facilitate initial leads (made by the Retail Trade Manager) and work through to completion – to include both Trade and Wholesale.
• Bi-annual marketing concession specific promotional calendars
• Leading from the front, provide inspirational leadership and set the example for others to work by. Responsible for coaching and development to flourish to build a high performing team.
• Awareness of the company’s overall direction, mid / short and longterm, fully understanding the involvement and importance of Retail within the vision.

Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to GCSE Level or above 

IT skills

• Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and Outlook Desirable • Degree level

Experience

Essential

• Retail Management
• Recognised commercial sales experience
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Advanced excel skills
• People Management 

Desirable

• Administration experience
• Knowledge of On-Trade
• Board/Director level communication
• Annual budgeting
