This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant wanting to gain more experience within on-trade and events. In this role, you will support the Marketing Department in all aspects of the organisation, delivery and management of events and supporting the Sales Team with any marketing collateral requests, which maintain the Company’s strategic objectives and priorities.
You will maintain the Marketing POS budget, the Media file as well as update the product information as necessary. You will be the main point of contact for product information, Educational visits as well as POS distribution.
You will also provide administrative and logistical support to the Senior Marketing Executive to deliver the national and regional trade / consumer events and also attend the events to support the event management, social media activity, oversee branding and take photos.
You will have some experience of working in/ for an events or marketing team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will also have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, confidently offering fantastic customer service to a range of people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
· Acting as the main point of contact for the internal sales team and marketing requests
· Keeping the central product database up to date
· Maintaining the POS distribution list and budget
· Assisting Senior Marketing Executive with organisation and running of trade events
· Researching market trends, pricing strategies and demographics
· Completing competition and market analysis on an ongoing basis
· Creating information packs and product copy to support new product launches
· Organizing the Educational Visits to the Estates in Italy
· Adhering to set timelines and agreed budgets
Ideal candidate:
· Some previous experience working in a Marketing or Events team
· Confident using MS Office applications
· Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills and great attention to detail.
· Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Good interpersonal and influencing skills
· Ability to present information articulately both verbally and in written form.
· WSET Level 2 or higher
