Interested in:
- A well organised, experienced, and charismatic supervisor keen to let their customer service skills shine in a hands-on role.
- The successful candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate team leader or supervisory expertise in a busy bar/ waiting-on environment; a knowledge which is likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the hospitality industry.
- Our ideal Supervisor will be passionate about delivering a consistently excellent level of service and enjoy hosting front of house.
The successful candidates will be required to:
- Work alongside the Duty Managers to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of The HIVE in the absence of the Manager where appropriate.
- Assist the Management team with the operational objectives of the business and ensure tight controls on costs are achieved in line with the P&L.
- Ensure that all company H & S and Food Safety objectives and standards are achieved and that any faults are raised directly with the Manager or the H & S advisor.
- Focus on “service” standards throughout the operation, and in conjunction with the Management team; continue to improve the overall professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with all areas of the overall business to facilitate 5-star standards across Ribby Hall Village.
- Ensure that The HIVE operates to its maximum potential.
Our perfect match will possess the following essential attributes:
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting of a similar standard.
- An NVQ is hospitality would be ideal.
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding customer service
- Resilience and ability to perform under pressure
- Pro-active with excellent follow through on tasks
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent personal presentation
- Knowledge of beverages and fresh food
- Excellent food and liquor control skills
- Have full understanding of the 14 main allergens and be competent in advising guests
- Comply with licensing objectives
- Oversee a team of up to 20 staff at any one time
- Open/close a venue that’s operating hours are from 8am-1am 365 days a year.
- Be adaptable to changes in rotas to meet the needs of the business
- Be able to deal with a diverse range of clientele in a high pace environment.
- Due to licensing laws applicants must be 18 years of age or above.
Availability:
- The position is part time; offering 40 hours per week over 5 days in a department that operates 7 days a week.
- Full flexibility to work weekends and early mornings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
Salary:
