About Us:

Westgarth Wines Ltd was founded in 2012 and is a growing, fine wine merchant that sells some of the world’s top tier wines. We are a collaborative, enthusiastic and friendly team specialising in fine wine retail and investment markets. 

Who are we looking for:

An experienced logistics operative to join our fully remote team. The individual in question will play a critical role in supporting purchasing as well as overseeing day-to-day operations such as inventory and stock control. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in fine wine logistics, be meticulous and detail-oriented, as well as keen to develop and grow the role in a fast-growing team. The Senior Logistics Manager will be the primary point of contact for inventory movement, and will work with internal and external contacts to ensure efficient and accurate logistics. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing and new relationships with warehouses, suppliers, clients and logistics providers

  • Purchasing and purchasing admin responsibilities

  • Negotiating & improving operational efficiency to better the financial implications of the company's logistical network

  • Oversee all shipping requests between suppliers, customers, and partners

  • Develop best practices and SOPs for storage and shipping

  • Manage the company’s inventory and logistics

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in fine wine logistics 

  • Passionate about wine, with WSET Level 3 qualification or equivalent

  • High-level organisational capacity and a great attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Written and spoken skills in an additional language is a bonus (French or Italian)

  • Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills (Excel)

  • Spoken and written fluency in English is essential

Salary dependent upon experience
