International Sales and Marketing Manager: Bijou

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded sales and marketing professional to join our growing international team. This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of a territory, shape brand strategy, and play a central role in the continued global expansion of an award-winning wine portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Increasing sales by introducing new listings and customers to our portfolio
· Implementing sales strategies and account plans with P&L responsibility, whilst building relationships with buyers and decision makers
· Playing a key role in the creating, sourcing and brand-building process
· Liaising with producers across buying, negotiating, marketing and selling
· Communicating with and developing our existing markets and customers across the UK and international markets
· Full account management, with the autonomy and support to progress as a self-starter capable of playing a major role within the company
The position involves travel and is highly rewarding. Your background and market expertise will have a significant bearing on your territory responsibility.
About you
· You will have excellent communication and IT skills.
· You will be passionate about wine and aspirational for your own success and development
· A minimum qualification of WSET Level 3 or equivalent is required
· Fluency in English is essential; French is highly desirable, and additional languages are a significant advantage
· You will be able to demonstrate sales success with major retailers or distributors, and will bring a number of strong, relevant contacts to the role
· You will have a minimum of three years of international sales or export experience, whether in European, US, or Asia-Pacific markets
· You will have excellent communication and IT skills

The successful applicant will work from home, which can be anywhere in Europe, the US, or Asia-Pacific, provided there are good communications links. You will be required to make occasional head office, trade fair and market visits.
