Rathfinny Wine Estate is looking for full-time production operator to assist in the processing of our sparkling wines.
The role involves work throughout the year, carrying out key production tasks.
Loading and unloading of stillages & riddling cages, disgorging, labelling & packaging, order fulfilment, record keeping, goods receival, stock control and stock-taking, cleaning and maintenance of site & equipment.
The ideal candidate will be able to manually handle wine in bottles, cases (up to 16kg), be self-motivated and able to perform repetitive tasks at a good speed, have an eye for details and figures, have an interest in the production of bottle-fermented sparkling wine, and Sussex sparkling wine in particular, and enjoy working with a small team.
There may be opportunities to assist in winemaking operations at key points in the year.
Prior forklift experience is ideal but by no means essential, and training can be given. The most important prerequisites are enthusiasm and a positive work attitude.
Salary: competitive and based on experience, with benefits package.

Rathfinny Wine Estate was established in 2010 with the express intention of producing some of the finest sparkling wine in the world.
Currently, 230 acres of vineyards are already planted out and on site there is a state-of-the art winery with production and storage facility; there is also an award-winning restaurant and a variety of accommodation.
