Marketing & Communications Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

A new and rapidly expanding group of wine estates based in Sussex is seeking an experienced marketing and communications manager to join their team in Petworth, West Sussex.  They will work closely with the General Manager to implement and drive a strategy that will contribute to the company’s commercial goals.

Job description:

• Ownership, implementation and delivery of the company’s marketing strategy
• Responsibility for all areas of Digital – website, SEO & SEM, social media, advertising etc
• Management of brand positioning and oversight of pricing strategy
• Liaison with graphic and website designers
• Oversight of the planning, preparation and management of events, tastings and exhibitions/trade shows
• Production of marketing/promotional materials and literature, such as web content, brochures and press releases
• Write and proofread copy
• Visit clients and attend trade shows and exhibitions

The role will be based within reasonable proximity of Petworth and, during busy periods will require a flexible approach to working hours.  This is a full-time role.

Essential Requirements:

• WSET Level 3 or above and/or significant F&B related experience
• Full drivers’ license (remote location)
• Full right to work in the UK
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral skills
• High degree of computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office, writing HTML and using relevant design packages
• Organised, with the ability to multi-task and a good eye for detail
• Proactive and positive mindset
• Experience of implementation of product launch

• Salary range offered between £35k p/a and £45k+ p/a depending on experience
