2019 Harvest staff 

 

Defined Wine Ltd is looking for winery staff for this year’s harvest. Defined Wine Ltd has been set up as a contract-only winery, with no vines or brands of its own and 2019 will be our first harvest. 

We are looking for people who are hard-working, have good attention to detail and enjoy what they do. Given the broad spectrum of our clients and their very different requirements, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in pressing for a wide range of still and sparkling wines. Some staff may be kept on after harvest.

Dates and hours

Dates: From mid August to early November, depending on harvest dates. This will include a period of induction training

Hours: Forty hours per week plus, depending on the intensity of the harvest

Candidates must have:

- Previous experience of working as a cellar hand, or be currently enrolled in a winemaking course

- Good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

- Flexibility to work extended hours 

- Eligibility to work in the UK

In addition, candidates should ideally have:

-  A proficiency certificate for forklift operation
