An Order & Despatch Office Assistant is needed to support the team during a period of maternity leave. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year to cover maternity leave. Based in Cawston, Norfolk, you will work 25 hours a week, 5 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Order & Despatch Office Manager, you will be processing and despatching orders in accordance with internal procedures and HMRC regulations.

The main duties of this role are: -

• Processing and accurate documentation of customer orders.
• Assisting with the daily arrival of drivers and orders being despatched.
• Arranging transport as per daily, weekly and monthly order requirements.
• Stock control with regard to finished good stock.
• Liaison with customers as well as general administration duties.

Key Skills/Competencies required:

It will be essential for the successful applicant to demonstrate the following: -

• Previous experience of working in an administrative role with excellent IT skills
• Excellent team-working and communication skills with a professional and flexible approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn.
• High work standards, accuracy and attention to detail with a strong quantitative and data focus.
• Demonstrate experience of delivering great customer service
• Ability to grasp a wide range of new information and assimilate quickly.
• Positive thinker with ability to see areas for improvement and added value to the department and business.
• Knowledge of stock/ordering systems is desirable but not essential.
