About Taurus Wines
Established in 2001, Taurus Wines is an award-winning independent wine merchant based on a farm in the Surrey Hills, near Cranleigh.
We specialise in retailing fine and party wines and as well as shelves full of delicious bottles from around the world, we have a Spiral Cellar and climate-controlled fine wine cabinet, plus Enomatic wine dispensing machines. Customers can come and browse and taste during the working week, plus we organise evening wine tastings and host wine schools.
We also sell online and can offer customers next day nationwide delivery via our courier or same-day delivery with our own vans.
We supply local high-end restaurants and concession stores and also have a fantastic relationship with local caterers and wedding venues, meaning our wholesale and party sides of the business are kept active and busy year round.
We are looking for:

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Retail, Events and Digital Co-ordinator will ideally have a passion for wine and retail, with strong visual merchandising skills, be excellent at organisation and have a natural flare for social media. - Mail order – creating labels for mail order deliveries, boxing up cases for delivery
- Events co-ordination ie wine school reminder emails, table planning, note printing
- Shop floor – merchandising and retail display (working with the Shop Floor Manager)
As with all small businesses, a willingness to roll up sleeves and get stuck in to all areas of the business is a must.
