Wine Adviser (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

An exciting opportunity to join a new business and drive sales growth by helping customers to discover great products simply not available in supermarkets and large retail wine chains. We are looking for:

• People who have the confidence and knowledge to engage with customers about the products we sell.
• Someone who is equally comfortable serving in retail and bar environments.
• A passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• The desire to continually improve and expand upon existing wine and spirits knowledge.
• A willingness to get involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the store, including replensishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock, assisting in floor moves and display maintenance, aiding customers to locate products, managing deliveries to the store, maintaining solid product knowledge, awareness of promotions and advertisements and being comfortable with picking and delivering customer orders when required.
• Relevant wine qualifications, ideally WSET Level 2 or equivalent and proven experience in the retail or hospitality industry.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
