Vintage Capital, a business to business fine wine trader, is looking to recruit a wine trader to work alongside the Senior Wine Trader and the Wine Director.

Vintage Capital (www.vintagecapitalplc.com) was established in 2013 and, over the last five years, has grown its business significantly, with its turnover growing by over 50% per annum, and it is strongly profitable. The Company has recently raised £4.5 million from over 130 shareholders to assist it in its growth, both in the UK and overseas. As well as looking to grow turnover and increase its profitability, it is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join the Wine Trading Team. Based within Goedhuis & Co's offices near London Bridge (www.goedhuis.com), and working closely with the Senior Wine Trader, the Logistics Manager and the Shipping Manager, the individual will assist with the buying and selling of fine wines, liaising with customers and suppliers, preparing offers, researching the fine wine market, and dealing with the day to day administrative issues that inevitably arise within the trading of fine wine.

The individual we are seeking will have a number of years working in the fine wine industry, will have a love of fine wines, and is likely to be numerate and analytical and with at least WSET Level 3 or comparable. Attention to detail, genuine enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, a pleasant manner and an ability to work as part of a team are all key requirements.
