Job Description:
• Liaise with producers to secure product images and information
• Liaise with producers to create appropriate marketing activity
• Co-ordinate acquisition of samples from producers
• Organise and record wide ranging sample tastings
• Develop cohesive marketing strategy for Amathus agency wine brands
• Assist with writing of copy for website and tech sheets
• Design, book and co-ordinate trade, press and consumer tastings
• Build rapport with press to maximise media coverage of Amathus range
• Co-ordinate producer UK market visits
• Co-ordinate visits to producers for Amathus team and clients
• Assist in creation of marketing collateral and point of sale
• Work with web, marketing and purchasing teams to develop online offer
• Provide support to the sales team in the field.
• Represent the company at events and tastings
Skills:
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Other European languages would be helpful
• Minimum WSET Level 3 or equivalent
• Great communication skills
• A passion for wine
• At least 3 years wine industry experience
• An thorough understanding of current wine industry structure and trends
• Ability to write accurately, clearly and descriptively, with thorough understanding of technical wine terminology
• High level organisational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrable creativity
• Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Proficient in excel, word and outlook
• Experience of design programmes helpful
