Role Description
As a Part-Time Wine Bar Server at Blackbook Winery, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, serving wine, providing information about wine offerings, assisting customers with wine selections, and ensuring the workspace is clean and organized. Candidates will also support the wine bar team during special events and tastings. This is an on-site part-time role based in London, designed for individuals passionate about hospitality and wine.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a welcoming and professional experience for guests.
- Knowledge of wine varieties, particularly English wines, or a strong willingness to learn; experience with food and beverage service is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively explain wine selections and winemaking techniques to customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or a similar customer-facing role is beneficial.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, or events as needed.
