Social Media and Events Executive (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Full Time

  Enotria Winecellars Ltd

  London, England

Enotria & Coe is the UK’s leading premium wine and spirits distributor, with sales of over 30m bottles per annum to a huge range of customers across the country and internationally. The company in its current state was formed in Feb 2016 when Enotria (a premium wine distributor) purchased and merged with Coe Vintners (a premium spirit wholesaler). Under its current Private Equity ownership, the business has undergone a significant transformation over the last three years and has been investing heavily in new systems and people.

E&C sells 2,500 SKUs of wines and spirits to about 4,000 independent on-trade customers (restaurants, gastro pubs, bars, etc) as well as many major pub and restaurant chains and all the major supermarkets and wine shops. The individual on-trade operators order through a combination of phone, email and online, and currently about 20% of our B2B orders are placed online. Once the new B2B site goes live we aspire to drive this up to 40% of orders and would like to develop a programme to maximise the sales value cross of these transactions through cross-selling, up-selling and promotions.

E&C also operates a premium “independent” retailer, Great Western Wine, which sells directly to consumers both through a physical shop in Bath and through a website and customer database. Online turnover is approximately £2m and sales are clearly focused on mid to premium wines from the E&C portfolio. We are significantly increasing investment behind our online retail proposition with ambitious plans to expand our footprint, including an increased presence for spirits, for 2021.
