  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.

 

Your new team

The Gin Hub was established in 2017 as a standalone brand company to transform the way Pernod Ricard approaches the gin category and to accelerate performance across the portfolio of premium+ international strategic gin brands, namely Beefeater, Plymouth Gin, MALFY, Monkey 47 and KI NO BI.

 

You will join a dynamic team of gin lovers, convivial and passionate.

Premium is the heartland of our business, and we now have an enviable portfolio of premium, super premium and ultra-premium gin brands that embody heritage, quality and provenance.

 

Your unique contribution

You will have several responsibilities:

  • Drive Consumer Centricity, a key ingredient in the Pernod Ricard brand building model, across our brands by putting consumers/shoppers/travellers at the heart of all decision making and initiating consumer centric work streams & activities that positively impact business decision making & actions that lead to stronger brand equities & sustained commercial growth.
  • Act as a business partner, leveraging consumer understanding to challenge & guide strategy, planning & activation development.
  • Develop actionable insights & enhanced consumer knowledge, leading and partnering with Marketing / Brand teams and Global COEs to unlock new thinking pathways.
  • Contribute to a global Pernod Ricard insight community to build & share learnings for more consistent understanding and application of what drives consumer attitudes, beliefs & behaviours within the total alcohol category
  • Increase consumer-centric mindset and skills across the Gin Hub teams with regular trainings session and sharing of CoE research.

 

Who you’ll be working with:

 

Internally, your main stakeholders will be the Global Brand Director, Global Marketing Managers (Comms, and Portfolio and Innovation), Insight managers in Market Co and Brand Co, Centre of excellence experts, The Innovation Hub / RTD Hus

Externally, your contacts will be The Gin Hub Market Activation Team and The Strategic Planning Team

  • Translate short/mid-term business priorities into meaningful Consumer Insight & Marketing Effectiveness plans / projects
  • Provide best in class consumer understanding, visualization, leveraging COE methodologies, toolkits and learnings, ensuring Executive and Marketing teams are inspired by the latest thinking to drive and shape business and brand strategies, brand plans & activations and fuel the innovation funnel
  • Develop actionable insights and enhance consumer knowledge by unlocking new thinking pathways for the business via deep consumer understanding that provides relevant focus & greater efficiency of effort as well as leading projects to define or articulate Brand compass and Global brand portfolio strategy.
  • Drive a future focused leading-edge insight capability in partnership with Centres Of Excellence (COE)
  • Strong connection/collaboration with Consumer Insight Planners from other Brand & Market Companies
