Role: Sales Support Administrator
Established in 1978, Thorman Hunt is one of the leading family-owned specialist wine importer, sourcing exceptional, artisanal wine for the finest restaurants, hotels and independent retailers in London and the UK.
We are looking for a highly organised, tenacious, adaptable, detail-oriented person to help us deliver brilliant service to our customers and excellent support for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing the vital support function for our sales team.
• Creating reports and information to ensure excellent customer service
• Proactively communicating, both internally and to our customers
• Analysing stock reports and sales data and using the information to inform decision-making
• Managing allocations and customer reserves
• Processing inbound orders and managing customer enquiries
• Creating tasting and technical notes
• Producing sales and purchasing reports using our stock management system
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Excellent IT capability, particularly Excel.
• Fantastic organisational and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience of Vintner stock management system (would be beneficial)
• The ability to communicate clearly and proactively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Problem solving skills
• At least a basic knowledge of wine, preferably wanting to learn more
• The ability to work in a very busy sales environment and cope with demanding deadlines
• A sense of fun and the enjoyment of working in a close-knit team
