Inside sales role for a new software as a service (SaaS) business system for the independent wine trade. 

There's been a huge gap in the market for an affordable software platform to run a wine business.

That's why we created the Wine Hub, designed from the ground up for the wine trade, and capable of handlng the idiosyncracies of wine inventory managemnt.

That means capable of managing different stock types such as physical, non physical and virtual. it also means capable of any workflow that either starts with a purchase order or starts with a sales invoice and ends with a purchase order.

Most business system providers aim to help independent operators become more efficient in how they go about their business (the core day-to-day activities). It's a worthwhile goal especially in a market as complicated as wine, where logistics can slow things down and inaccuracies can lead to expensive mistakes.

The Hub does all of that, but goes much further, underpinned with sector specific reference data and making it possible to connect with sources of supply and sales channels to market. Not to mention a fuly integrated Webshop. All of which helps wine business to shape their offering, build strong operational processes and deliver an exceptionally consistent user experience. These are key ingredients for organic growth, which the Wine Hub manages.

Since it's relese in May more than a dozen wine businesses have adopted the Wine Hub, with many more in evaluation. We now need an experienced sales professional to help us drive its growth. 

Who are we looking for?

  • You will have had wine retail/ merchant experience, and been exposed to business systems used by the companies you have previously worked for.
  • You will have really striong business awareness and have a strong handle on how wine businesses operate.
  • You will have well developed sales skills and be practised at needs analysis and consultative selling.
  • You are an excellent communicator.
  • You will be very comfortable with technology.
