Sales Account Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Founded in 2000, Top Selection is an award-winning specialist wine importer and distributor sourcing exclusive wines & spirits for the UK’s leading restaurants, hotels, and independent wine merchants. We are a dynamic, independently owned, successful business with a friendly, can-do attitude and this role would particularly suit someone with a similar outlook. Our ideal candidate will also bring with them the wine knowledge and industry experience to hit the ground running, along with the ability to combine their flair for sales with a strong team ethos.

Working with an enviable portfolio that includes both celebrated boutique producers and renowned global brands, the successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and growing sales with existing clients, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities across the on-trade and independent off-trade sectors in London and the surrounding area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships across the on and off trade.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent the company at trade events and tastings as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in sales within the wine industry, and ability to hit sales targets, ideally in both on-trade and off-trade sectors.
  • A strong track record of growing and maintaining key accounts.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good level of wine knowledge, ideally WSET Level 3 or above.
  • IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
