RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Nyetimber Winery and Warehouse, The Lakes Warehouse, Group Marketing teams, Finance teams and External Suppliers.
MAIN PURPOSE:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic procurement team within a multi-brand environment, including the Nyetimber and The Lakes brands.
SCOPE:
The role is responsible for supporting procurement processes and timely delivery of high-quality goods across various brands within the group. Situated within the marketing organisation, the role will work extensively with the Procurement Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support with day-to-day supplier communication
· Request quotes and follow up on supplier queries
· Raise purchase orders accurately in line with approved pricing and quantities
· Check purchase orders match quotes and internal requests
· Track purchase orders and flag issues or delays
· Update stock trackers and inventory reports
· Support stock checks and reconciliations
· Share low stock or delivery risk updates with the team
· File and maintain department documents including quotes, purchase orders and approved artworks
· Keep records organised and up to date
· Manage transit tests for POS items
· Populate cost sheets and trackers with agreed data
· Support cost comparisons between supplier quotes
· Escalate discrepancies
· Support meeting preparation and note taking
· Prepare simple weekly procurement reports and status updates
· Act as a point of contact for basic queries from stakeholders
· Escalate delivery, quality, or invoice issues promptly
· Communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers
· Support on development of POS items
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· 1-2 year experience working in the product development, procurement, purchasing, supply chain ideally within a luxury environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing procurement processes and documentation.
· Good knowledge of MS Office suite e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
