Indigo Wine is looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join our team and run our inbound logistics.
About Indigo Wine
Established in 2003, Indigo Wine is an award-winning importer working directly with small artisanal growers from all over the world, with a strong focus on Spain. Our customers cover Michelin-starred restaurants to Gastropubs and Independent Merchants to National Retailers. We are a highly respected name in the UK wine trade, founding members of New Wave South Africa tasting and instigators of the Viñateros event.
We are looking to expand on the success and growth that we have seen in the last 19 years and this role will be central to achieving that.
About the role
· Plan, process and manage all inbound shipments of stock from our international portfolio of wine producers
· Find the most time and cost-effective ways of arranging shipments
· First and main point of contact for hauliers, producers and our warehouse regarding shipments
· Communicate progress and issues with shipments to the wider team
· Knowledge of necessary import/customs documentation requirements
· Maintain a strong relationship with our bonded warehouse to ensure accurate and timely landing of stock and resolution of any stock issues
· Assist with customer order processing and outbound logistics when necessary
Successful candidates will ideally have the following:
· Highly organised with thorough attention to detail
· Previous experience in international wine shipping
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Outlook and Excel. Experience with Bevica/Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be highly advantageous.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a great team player
· Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
· A passion for, and knowledge, of wine

Salary range between £28,000 to £32,000 depending upon experience. Other benefits include company pension and bonus.
