The Knotted Vine is a young, dynamic wine importer and distributor based on London. We specialise in hands on, quality driven products that are new to the UK and well suited to the growing on trade sector here in London. Wines from small producers with a passion for minimal intervention winemaking.
We are looking for someone who has a deep passion for minimal intervention wines and wants to commit to a long-term future with the company and be part of developing this young operation as we continue to grow.
The right candidate should have bags of energy, solid wine knowledge and be self motivated whilst having a firm understanding of what it takes to sell wine in the current UK on trade climate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth within the London on-trade sector
- Increase trade customer base
- Create, manage and deliver sales incentives, promotions and events
- Assist with buying and shaping the portfolio
- Help develop improved support and service for customers
- Develop and manage a junior sales team
Required qualifications & experience:
- Sales experience beneficial
- WSET Level 3 or equivalent
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Well organised and professional
The job has a competitive salary that will be based on previous experience and include a bonus structure, with 24 days’ annual leave.
£25,000 + P/A. Salary based on previous experience.
