We are now seeking a Head of Food & Beverage to join us on our journey. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping our menu and product range, driving innovation, and ensuring every dish reflects our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full food development agenda, setting strategic direction for product range and innovation.
- Plan and manage the end-to-end menu development programme, including milestones, dependencies, and rollouts.
- Partner with insights and development chefs to ensure briefs are grounded in guest needs and market trends.
- Ensure all menu changes align with brand pledges, sourcing policies, and standards.
- Develop, cost, and price new dishes to meet GP targets.
- Manage and support the menu process team, escalating issues where necessary.
- Conduct supplier visits to explore NPD opportunities and secure market-leading innovation.
- Communicate pipeline innovation clearly across the business to ensure alignment.
- Lead monthly executive food innovation sessions, including agenda setting and follow-up.
- Act as the organisational conscience of menu development, ensuring alignment and delivery.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and project management capability.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence across diverse teams.
- Passion for food and empathy with chefs, driven by curiosity and creativity.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Adobe InDesign.
- Significant experience in the food industry, with a well-rounded understanding of menu development.
- Degree-level education or equivalent senior leadership experience.
- Food-specific, leadership, or project management qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
