Harrods Hennessy Concession – Supervisor (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

JOB MISSION

As a brand ambassador maintain and promote the highest standard through extensive product knowledge and brand expertise to deliver a A class customer experience, with a customer-centric mindset, striving to meet concession ambition.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Greet, serve and advise customers giving the highest standard of customer service at all times.
• Develop loyalty with our customers by building relationships with customers through a 1-2-1 personal shopper style approach to sales.
• Demonstrate product knowledge on all categories and to have an awareness of current advertising & marketing campaigns, new launches and promotions.
• Introduce add-on sales and achieve maximum sales potential in line with individual and departmental targets
• Deal effectively with customer complaints by liaising with the line manager when necessary.
• Ensure a knowledge of sales targets and boutique/store performance on a daily and weekly basis
• Follow all stock management procedures
• Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and display
• Be conversant with selling systems, cash and credit and exchange procedures.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store
• Take all actions necessary to maximise security and prevent theft of product
• Ensure that the Department operates in accordance with the Company administration systems and procedures to minimise losses

Professional experience & know how

• Proven experience in a luxury retail or service environment
• Knowledge of wines & spirits industry preferred
• Customer-centric mindset
• Strong clientelling skills in order to ensure client contact is maintained engaging them in a long-term professional and loyal relationship
• Motivated and committed with a ‘can do’ positive attitude.
• Able to meet the demands of a busy boutique/concession with high energy levels and a determination to achieve a strong sales record.
• Effective time management skills. Must be punctual and reliable, able to perform tasks within the required time-frames.
Experience in cash handling procedures.
