Objectives:
We work with independent, sustainably minded winemakers to deliver a diverse, quality focused wine list. We favor a low-intervention approach, with organic, biodynamic, natural and vegan wines at the fore.
The Exciting part… the role available
Due to the promising growth and exciting potential, we are recruiting a London Sales Manager . Reporting into the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will take hold of the business plan and win new partners with ambitious targets to grow distribution.
About you
As a confident self-starter, with the ability to work in a close-nit and ambitious team, you will strive to excel while working conscientiously and collaboratively. Using your initiative, you will have the autonomy to manage a client base and play a key role in the growth of the brand.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Act on new business opportunities, follow-up on key new customer leads and report to the Commercial Director on a weekly basis.
• Grow and manage new and existing relationships, extend the portfolio listings and implement, run and follow up on support packages.
• CRM management and customer engagement. Ensure that the CRM system is regularly updated with customer information is in line with the Company's expectation
• Talk confidently about the brand and category in front of large groups of current and potential customers
• Support customers with events and samplings.
Essential skills & experience:
• Solid working experience in the London On-Trade.
• Proven, successful track record of sales and account management including working to a budget.
• Industry Contacts across intended account space.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, a results oriented attitude and creative thinker.
• Confident at speaking in front of crowds.
• Good I.T. skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and a full & clean driver’s license
