ELICITE is a mature start-up company aiming to modernise the way people learn about, buy and enjoy Fine Wine and in doing so, not only to positively disrupt the Wine industry but to become the leaders and authority in the industry. The venture started when a group of fine wine experts and experienced technologists came together to find a better way of marketing and selling wine online. In pursuit of their vision they are innovatively combining aspects of inspiring content, social media and e-commerce to create a unique, content led, experience for customers.

To gain a fast start position in the UK market ELICITE have acquired an existing Fine Wine business selling to both business and individual customers. Their ambition is to maintain and grow this existing customer base as they continue to build and evolve their business model.

 Role and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with our rapidly growing team at ELICITE as a Senior Private Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be working as part of the sales team, with a primary focus on companies top UK private customers but also responsible for some high value individual clients

 Key responsibilities:

  • Managing new customers to convert leads into sales through a deep understanding of their needs
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current and new customers to grow sales
  • Prospecting for new clients all around the world with a focus on UK
  • Create bespoke offers using wine from our stock, agencies and merchant lists
  • Managing client purchases and expectations to ensure rapid payment and delivery
  • Forecasting sales and meeting sales targets and KPIs
  • Work with the marketing team to promote our outstanding range of exclusive agency wines

 Experience and Capabilities

  • 3 years’ experience in fine wine sales
  • Connections or contacts with UK private clients are desirable
  • A good understanding of the wine industry in general and UK market
  • Previous experience in a very target driven environment
  • Excellent self-motivation, a conscientious working attitude and the ability to perform under pressure
