Turville Valley Wines is a leading supplier of the world’s finest and rarest wines. Originally set up in 1979 to supply private customers and the UK Trade, the company now has customers across the world.
We are looking to recruit dedicated and results-driven logistics personnel to help support the growing needs of our business. This is a varied role, where the successful candidate will assist the existing logistics team in all areas, including imports, exports and maintaining accurate stock data records.
The Role
Incoming Goods
· Prepare orders for import
· Liaise with suppliers to confirm readiness of goods
· Ensure documentation is correct & complete
· Instruct shipment with freight forwarder
Outbound Goods
Domestic
· Release goods for delivery once stock is available and orders paid for
· Where necessary, liaise with clients to confirm delivery date
· If delivering to another warehouse, ensure receiving company’s procedures are adhered to
Export
· Consolidate orders for shipping once stock is available & orders paid for
· Confirm freight forwarder
· Release goods to freight forwarder in warehouse system
· Confirm with all parties
Stock Management
· Assist with stock reconciliations
· Ensure consistent & ongoing stock accuracy
· During peak periods, assist stock controller with inbounding of goods & preparing lists of goods for photographing
Ad Hoc
· Assist Operations Manager with system-related activities (e.g. running & maintaining reports)
· Provide cover for a specific role during PTO
Desired Skill Set
The successful candidate will be:
· Experienced in logistics / movement of goods, ideally wine or similar product
· Organised & thorough
· Detail-orientated
· Able to problem solve and work independently
· Eager to learn with a can-do attitude

Full Time Permanent role
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm or similar
