 Overview:

• Benchmark Drinks is now recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team. In this role you will provide day-to day operations support to the Head of Supply Chain and general administrative support to the business
• You will have the opportunity to gain a diverse range of experience in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
• One of your first responsibilities will be to assist in the implementation of a new stock management system
• You will have to be a self-starter and get things done quickly and to a high standard with a strong working knowledge of Excel

 Key Responsibilities:

Customer management

• Process orders on relevant portals
• Respond to impromptu customer queries
• Liaise with the warehouse to process and dispatch warehouse orders
• Liaise with producers to process and fulfil ex works orders

Operations reporting

• Daily stock update by brand and product
• Weekly stock reconciliation
• Shipping schedules
• Finance reporting
• Track and check sales invoices (quantity, pricing, commission etc)
• Track and check purchase invoices (production, storage, distribution, duties etc)
• Track, investigate and approve charges and returns, recharging costs where possible

Administrative support

• General business and office administration

 Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong written and spoken English
• Strong Excel skills
• Interest in logistics/supply chain and the wine industry
• Highly organised and effective communicator
• Ability to work independently and within a team
