Communications Manager
A fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic & fast growing Burgundy & American Fine Wines specialist and a unique chance to represent some of the world’s best wines. We are looking for a Communications Manager with trade marketing and wine PR experience to fill an exciting hands-on position, involving trade and consumer marketing, PR and events, as well as supplier relationships management.
Key responsibilities:

devising and implementing a yearly marketing and PR strategy
-
planning and running all campaigns and projects on time & on budget
-
handling all media relations: drafting press releases, selling in to press, monitoring coverage, networking,...
-
drafting and managing budgets
-
supporting the sales team
-
supporting the buyer with French suppliers liaison
-
data management
-
design and presentations (printed materials, e-marketing, awards entries,...)
-
monthly ROI reports
Key skills:
-
ability to plan & formulate creative strategies
-
excellent written & oral communication
-
proficiency in both spoken and written French
-
in depth knowledge of the UK wine market and wine press
-
excellent computer skills including basic knowledge of Quark & email marketing software
-
good grasp of social media and experience of website & community management
You must be:

wine knowledgeable (WSET qualification or equivalent)

highly motivated and proactive
-
a strong negotiator with sound commercial acumen
-
able to communicate confidently externally and internally
-
organised with good time management skills and initiative
-
numerate and analytical

Salary: depending on experience
