First Base Employment has a requirement for a Sommelier to join for a well established 3 AA Rosette restaurant in the outskirts of Lichfield.

The restaurant is aiming for more accolades to put under their belt and this gives a great opportunity for a Sommelier to join an award winning team.

As Sommelier you will be working closely with the General Manager to expand and improve what is already in place, speak to suppliers, manage other staff and create a fantastic, interesting and individual wine list as well as wine flights.

The team is a very well established team and everyone is a real team player, at times everyone carries out roles to help others so the successful person needs to be a good team player and happy to get stuck in and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Package:

• £26-£30,000 Per Annum plus Tronc (4K Per Annum)

• Live in accommodation available if required

Requirements

• WSET Level 2 or equivalent

• Own transport due to location

• Previous experience within a rosetted establishment

• Excellent wine & spirit knowledge 

• Mixology experience is advantageous
