As a Vineyard Operative, you will take on thrilling responsibilities, including vine pruning and expertly tying down vines, maintaining trellises, skillfully managing the canopy, and confidently maneuvering tractors equipped with various implements for tasks like trimming, mulching, leaf stripping, mowing, and cultivating. You will also lend a hand in spraying vine canopies and defeating weeds, supporting frost prevention during the spring, and contributing to meticulous vineyard data collection and record-keeping. During the exhilarating harvest season, your expertise will be an invaluable asset to our esteemed grape collection team.

 

To truly thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with previous vineyard or fruit tractor driving experience, bolstered by a recognized Certificate of Competence for tractor driving. A solid foundation in viticultural knowledge is essential, as is experience or understanding of the safe handling and utilization of pesticides PA1 & PA3.
