Single Estate Vineyard & Winery

£30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) + wine allowance

We’re looking for a passionate and personable Tasting Room Manager to help run the heart of our estate – our Tasting Room. You’ll be the face of our vineyard, welcoming visitors, leading tours and tastings, and sharing the story of our wines from vine to glass. We are arguably the West Country’s premier wine estate, global winner of the Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year at IWSC and Supreme Champion and Best Producer at Wine GB both in 2025.

As a single estate vineyard and winery, everything happens here – from growing the grapes to bottling the wine. That means you won’t just be talking about wine; you’ll be immersed in it. This is a rare opportunity to deepen your wine knowledge in a hands-on, working environment where every vintage tells a story you’ll know first-hand.

What You’ll Be Doing

•  Jointly managing the Tasting Room day-to-day, ensuring a warm and memorable experience for every visitor

•  Leading vineyard tours and wine tastings with confidence and enthusiasm

•  Coordinating with our on-site café to align tours with lunch bookings for a seamless guest experience

•  Working the shop counter – selling wine, offering expert recommendations, and building relationships with customers

•  Packing and dispatching online orders

•  Monitoring emails and responding to visitor and customer queries

•  Keeping all public-facing spaces clean, welcoming, and ready to impress

What We’re Looking For

•  A genuine enthusiasm for wine and a solid working knowledge – you don’t need to be a sommelier, but you should know your Pinot from your Chardonnay.

•  A natural curiosity and eagerness to keep learning – we’ll give you every opportunity to grow

•  Confidence and warmth when speaking with visitors of all backgrounds and experience levels

•  Previous experience in hospitality, wine tourism, or a customer-facing role would be a real asset

•  A team player who thrives in a small, close-knit working environment

•  Strong organisational skills and a reliable, proactive approach

What We Offer

•  A salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
