Assistant Vineyard Manager & Winery Operative – Join the Kinsbrook Team

We’re looking for a hands-on, hard-working individual to join us as an Assistant Vineyard Manager & Winery Operative. If you're keen to get stuck in across all aspects of vineyard life — from pruning to tractors to harvest — and want to be part of a growing commercial winery, this could be the perfect role for you.

You’ll mostly be based at our own vineyards in West Sussex, but also support vineyard partners across the South East. It’s a great fit for someone with some vineyard experience who wants to take the next step, build mechanical and leadership skills, and get involved in winery operations as we expand production.

What you'll be doing:

  • All key seasonal vineyard tasks — pruning, canopy management, spraying, etc.

  • Driving tractors and operating/maintaining vineyard machinery

  • Supporting vineyard infrastructure and site maintenance

  • Helping to manage harvest across multiple sites

  • Leading small teams and seasonal staff

  • Recording work and keeping standards high across vineyards

  • Working in our winery for the 2025 Harvest

What we're looking for:

  • Previous vineyard experience and winery experience (preferred) 

  • Confident tractor operator (PA1 & PA3 a big plus)

  • Good mechanical instincts

  • Hard-working, practical and happy to work outdoors

  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
