(Wine Jobs:
Vineyards & Cellars )
Full Time
Kent (Maidstone, Faversham and Tenterden areas),
England
Chapel Down is now recruiting hard working and flexible agricultural workers to join its experienced Kent based vineyard team with sites in the Maidstone, Faversham and Tenterden areas.
Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery plus an empathy with crop production would be beneficial. PA1 and PA3 spraying certificates preferable. A flexible approach to working hours and work location is necessary. Own transport essential. The work will involve all aspects of grapevine crop production throughout the season as well as general vineyard care and maintenance.
Opportunities will arise to develop the role to that of supervisor working alongside and supervising teams of contract labour.
This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in a dynamic company in a relatively new and rapidly growing sector in UK agriculture and gain valuable experience by working alongside experienced and knowledgeable work colleagues.
Based in Tenterden, Kent, Chapel Down is one of the UK's leading wine producers and are rapidly expanding due to increasing demands for their award winning sparkling and still wines. The company also produces a range of premium beers in their Curious Drinks range, as well as successful operations in retail and tourism.
