Export Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Based in the heart of West Sussex, Wiston Estate is one of the UK’s most awarded sparkling wine producers and we are looking for someone to join our team to manage the Export side of the wine sales. This is an opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about wine and specifically English wine, but there will be opportunity for working alongside the rest of the estate, which covers a great diversity of projects, from regenerative farming, hospitality, forestry, countryside stewardship, land management and more.

We are looking for a candidate with good knowledge and understanding of the UK and Global wine trade. They will own the export sales strategy, supporting the markets which we already export to and setting up new partner markets. The role will involve travel to key export markets, presenting to export customers in their home territories and hosting export customers at the winery.

REQUIRED / ESSENTIAL:

Minimum 5 years experience in the international wine trade with export experience.

Confident with oversees travel (likely four to six trips a year, some long haul).

Experience of budget drafting and P&L Delivery.

WSET qualification.

20 hours per week – flexible days.

Proven experience of delivering commercial success through innovation.

Strong and varied communication skills with demonstrable experience of collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Proven competent user of IT, including Microsoft Office.

Impeccably organised and outstanding attention to detail.

Full drivers’ license (due to rural location)

Full right to work in the UK

Wiston Estate Winery is in West Sussex. This role is not required to be fully based at the winery, but a minimum of one day a week in the winery will be expected.
