Vindependents was set up 6 years ago and offers a revolutionary way for independent merchants to source top quality wines and for passionate producers to distribute these through a national network of the UK’s best and most knowledgeable merchants.
We are justifiably proud of our wines and work with award-winning producers who are among the best in their region. Our portfolio includes over 120 producers from 62 wine growing regions across the globe. We maintain agency relationships directly with all the estates on a UK exclusive basis and our wines are selected by Independents for Independents.
Vindependents are looking for an experienced sales executive to join our team, grow the membership and increase listings with our network of independent wine merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
· Grow sales of our portfolio to our current members and support their activities.
· Identify and bring on board potential new members.
· Analyse each member’s current range and advise them which wines from our range would work well for them.
· Manage samples to members / potential members.
· Work closely with the rest of the team to formulate the sales and promotional strategy.
· Attend and help organise the quarterly Vindependents tastings.
We are looking for the following:
· An undying enthusiasm for Independent wine producers and merchants and a desire to work hard to make them as successful as possible.
· An in depth knowledge of and passion for wine – WSET qualification desirable but not essential.
· A proven track record in wine sales.
· Ability to work successfully with a large and diverse portfolio.
· Self-motivation as this role is home based.
