AdVini (www.advini.com) is one of the leading producers of terroir wines in France, with comprehensive landholding in most of France’s leading regions as well as vineyard sites in South Africa.We are looking for an on trade export manager based in or near London to manage and develop relationships with our key UK importer partners.
Export management experience is not a prerequisite. However, working with a broad portfolio of predominantly French wines, you will be able to demonstrate success in managing complex accounts in the UK wine trade in a fast paced environment, strong understanding of on trade routes to market and an esprit français. Whilst your first inclination is to commercial success, you will also act as an ambassador for the Group attending trade tastings, as well as hosting both trade and consumer events.
You will be working alongside another London based export manager who is responsible for the off trade, both reporting to the directeur du zone UK in AdVini’s head office in St Felix de Lodez, south of France.
Role requires:
- A good knowledge of the UK on trade wine market
- Commercial and sales experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and develop relationships with both external clients and internal teams
- Good presentation skills
- Target driven and ability to flourish in challenging environments
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude
- A passion for and belief in French wine that drives your determination in commercial negotiations
Qualifications and skills
- Must be equally comfortable working in both French and English
- WSET qualifications desirable
Remuneration and working
- Home based in or close to London
- Legally resident in the UK
- Competitive basic salary with bonus based on results

- Must be able to travel regularly in the UK, often to France and at times further afield
