We are currently recruiting for a full time retail sales assistant to join the team at our Hampton Hill store near Twickenham in South West London.
We are an independent Wine, Craft Beer and Artisan Spirits specialist retailer and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being in a customer facing environment and would relish enthusing customers about our diverse range. We pride ourselves in our large and eclectic choice and one of our main tasks is getting the message over to our customers about all the interesting things to be found on our shelves. If you’re up for this type of challenge then this could be the perfect job for you.
Retail, wine trade or on-trade experience is not necessary but enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn and interest in our product range; wine, beer and spirits, is among the things we’re looking for!
In addition, the role will also involve general store room duties, accepting deliveries of goods inwards, maintenance and presentation of the retail area, dealing with telephone, email and online orders and enquiries. IT skills commensurate with carrying out these tasks will be needed.
The post involves a 40 hour week spread, in rotation, over 7 days and in return a competitive salary is offered. We are looking to make the appointment for a September 2022 start.
