About The Modest Merchant
Based in Hackney, The Modest Merchant is a young and fast-growing wine importer, wholesaler and retailer with a clear sense of purpose: To champion modern, low-intervention wines from some of Europe’s most exciting small producers.
We work directly with the growers, building genuine relationships and bringing characterful, expressive wines to both the on and off trade. As the business continues to expand, we’re shaping the foundations for what comes next and looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, collaborative and wine-focused environment, with scope to get involved in creative projects, in-person events and shaping how we present our wines.
