Les Caves de Pyrène is an independent importer, agent, distributor and retailer of wines.  We believe in promoting 'Real Wine', namely wines which are expressive of their origins, and which are made by hand with minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery.  Above all, we are diehard supporters of winemaking which shows maximum respect for nature and the environment.  Our (ever-growing) portfolio is wide-ranging, from our unrivalled selection of wines from the South West of France to profound, thrilling wines from the world over.  

 

We are currently looking for somebody to join our Sales Support Team in a part-time position.  The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for customers reaching our company, and the main responsibilities will include handling trade customer orders and dealing with a range of queries and administrative tasks. 

 

Candidates must have an excellent telephone manner, and a good level of computer literacy is required.  At least some basic wine knowledge would be a real advantage, as would any foreign language skills.  Above all, we are seeking someone who is capable and hardworking, who will enjoy working as a member of a small and dedicated team, and who can cope well under pressure. 

 

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:30am to 5:00pm)

Salary: Experience-based

Start Date: March 2014
