Winery Warehouse Assistant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our city winery! The warehouse assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, stored as well as  packing, scanning , and preparing orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and have some experience in inventory software and databases. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials within our city winery

• Process inventory for delivery

• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

• Package items and label correctly

• Scan delivered items to keep an accurate traceability on equipment

• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

• Stack and organize large bulk items

• Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations

• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles

• Work as an active team member to complete team goals

• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits

Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent

• Knowledges about wine, previous experience in wine industry preferred

• Valid driver’s license

• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, lift up boxes/bags of 25kg

• Able to work well within the team as well as individually on tasks

• Good  verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system

• Attention to detail and quality

• Highly organized

• Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
