Who are we looking for as our Area Sales Manager?
This position is designed to help us take things to the next level in the wine, craft beer and spirits market and for you to stretch your career as you carve out the role to play your part in the delivery of our ambitious plans for growth as a wine and spirit led business.
Reporting to the Regional Key Accounts Manager, it’s a great opportunity for people who are passionate about wine, are highly capable sales managers and have gravitas and credibility in the way they communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
You will be a key ambassador for our business in promoting our fantastic wine story to new, existing and lapsed customers, engaging them with your passion, expertise and credibility about all things wine, beer and spirits.
- Experience in a sales role with knowledge of wine and spirits is preferred.
- WSET qualifications are desirable and willingness to gain levels and 1 and 2 is essential.
- Travel and nights away may be part of the job as is working from home so you will require accomplished time management and planning skills.
As a key player in the sales team, your role will be to deliver the following set of success measures:
- Responsible for managing and developing a client base of retailers, bars and restaurants within given remit.
- Achieve volume and margin targets with both new and lapsed customer accounts
- Working in close partnership with the business commercial teams
- Cover the full range of our product portfolio while aiming to be wine led in your approach
