Exton Park Vineyard is an innovative English Sparkling Wine producer based in Hampshire. Located in the village of Exton, we are within easy commutable distance from Winchester, Southampton, and Portsmouth. We are incredibly fortunate to have a beautiful 60 acre vineyard, as well as a state-of-the-art winery on-site, and have a small, passionate team at the heart of our business.
 
We are now seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to organise our wine stock and provide logistical support to our winemaking and sales team. For the right applicant we anticipate this role will develop into a management position with supervisory responsibility for at least one other team member.
 
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
·         Record movement of all goods, in and out of the warehouse
·         Develop and maintain the warehouse to produce a compliant, efficient system
·         Maintain appropriate records
·         Pick and prepare orders of wine for dispatch to customers
·         Label and package bottles to maintain adequate stock of finished product
·         Maintain adequate stock of packaging materials
·         Transfer wine cages between cold room and winery
·         Carry out monthly stock takes and distribute to the management team
·         Comply with laws, regulations and Health & Safety processes
·         Occasionally assist the winery with work at harvest, bottling and disgorgement
·         Provide effective liaison, support and assistance with the whole of the organisation
 
 Skills required:
- Previous      experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Excellent      communication, organization and people skills
- Ability      to use Microsoft Office, in particular basic Excel spreadsheets
- Numerate      and literate – confident in ability to perform calculations and draft      effective emails to other staff
- Ability      to work under pressure at times
- An      enthusiastic ‘can – do’ attitude
- A      flexible approach to both working hours and duties during critical times      such as harvest and bottling is essential
- Forklift      licence is essential
- Must      be able to lift 20kgs
- Driving      licence and own transport essential due to rural location
